| Our heated roller presses for fabricating IG units with Truseal Flexible Spacer Systems are quality-approved by Truseal. To suit different market, we also have got CE certificate for this machine. The presses are used to feed through non-pressed IG unit assemblies, and needed in processing-widths capable of handling the short dimension of glass (IG are fed the "long-way") of 60"(1.52m), 84"(2.13m) and 96’’(2.50m).
The device is made-up of two sections, a heat-section with a horizontal infeed conveyor, and a compression section with a horizontal outfeed conveyor. The heating section can be fabricated according to customer’s different power requirment, and is equipped with 36( or 24) infrared lamps to heat the spacer that is between the two lights of glass. The compression section has 7( or 5 or 3) sets of compression rolls covered in a very heat-durable rubber. These roll-sets are tapered more closed from in-to-out, so as to gradually compress the spacer and glass lites together to the right thickness. Different airspaces of insulating glass units are accommodated by having the upper section mounted on a rigid structure, supported by screw jacks that are all turned simultaneously by a chain and sprocket mechanism.
