Jute Plant (Jute Tree)	Jute is 100% bio-degradable & recyclable and thus environment friendly Jute is a natural fibre with golden & silky shine, and hence nicknamed as The Golden Fibre Jute is the most cheap vegetable fibre procured from the bast (skin) of the Jute plant that falls into the category of Bast Fibres Jute is the second most important and widely cultivated Vegetable Fibre after cotton Jute has high tensile strength with low extensibility, this helps to make best quality industrial yarn and fabric for packaging Jute is one of the most versatile natural fibres that has been used in raw materials for packaging, textiles, non-textile, and agricultural sectors Jute plant is derived from a relative of the Hemp plant, but has no narcotic elements or odor Jute stem has very high volume of cellulose that can procured within 4-6 months, and hence it also can save the forest and meet wood requirement of the world in a eco-friendly manner The varieties of Jute are Bangla Tossa - Chorchorus olitorius (Golden shine) & Bangla White - Chorchorus capsularis (Whitish Shine) The Indian name Roselle Hemp is Mesta (in Hindi) or Meshta (in Bangla).
